The Sydney Shell Collectors Club Inc members consist of Amateurs, Semi-Professional and Professional Shell Collectors.

We meet once a month and have regular field trips.

Member interests are diversified including sea shells, fresh water shells, land snails, sea urchins and other marine creatures.
Some people collect or study just one or two families, or from one region, others are interested in all families.

Here are some of the things our club can provide to you:

• Expertise to identify your shells, or other marine creatures, and tips on where to observe or collect

• Instruction on how to protect the environment, and how best to stop people you see damaging it

• Tips on how to clean and store shells

• Quality shell identification reference book library, News Letters and Magazines

• Shells for swap, sale or purchase

Each meeting is different. Most include a presentation, and there are always shells to look at.
